We are a non-profit that tries to help Tinley Park residents who are facing difficult times.  

You can donate to Tinley Wish by visiting our website and clicking on the 'Donate' button.  We accept PayPal at this time.  You can also drop off a donation in person, 24/7 at the Tinley Park Public Safety Building located at 17355 68th Ct.  

Yes, Tinley Wish is a 501(c)(3) registered charity.  Our EID is 36-4417520  

We have streamlined the process by creating a link on our website to the document we need.  The required information includes the name, address, and contact phone number for the resident.  We will need you to explain what difficulties the family is facing as well as how we can best help them.  We also ask for your name and contact information as well so that we can reach out to you if we have any questions.   The nominations link will be live in September and October only.  The Tinley Wish board will meet at the beginning of November to determine how many families we can help based on how much money we were able to collect during the year. 

YES!  Every nomination we receive is handled with the utmost respect and dignity.  The information we learn stays within the board.  When we assist families, we always ask for their permission and share it only if they are comfortable with us doing so.

In September, we will post the link to the document we need for the nomination.  Remember, this link will only be available in September and October.  On or around November 1, the Board of Directors will meet to determine who we can assist. 

Each family situation is different and unique.  A board member meets with the family to determine how we can best assist them.   This is often in the form of a "wish list".   Then, depending upon our budget, we try to get everything on their list!

Over the last 30 years, because of the generosity of all who have donated money, we have been able to fulfil some incredible wishes.  Such as:

Winter attire such as coats and boots

Beds and mattresses

Hot meals

Appliances such as a refrigerator, washer, and dryer

A vehicle donated by our friends at Bettenhausen Dodge

Gift Cards

Wheelchairs

Ipads/Laptops
